The New York City Type 1 Diabetes Network, formed in 2021, is a community of researchers who leverages the collective strengths of the NYC area’s basic, translational and clinical research in T1D to create a regional nexus of excellence. The primary mission of the group is to promote active engagement between laboratories, sharing of expertise and resources and joint efforts to solve outstanding challenges in curing T1D. The Network also aims to engage with foundation and industry partners, as well as the T1D patient community.
